Research Areas
The research program of Department of Architectural Engineering at Hanyang University consists of three specialized areas: "safety and disaster response," "health and human-centeredness," and "energy and future social response." It has state-of-the-art technology in the field of analysis and performance evaluation of earthquakes in high-rise amorphous buildings, and research is being conducted on residual strength evaluation and effective repair/reinforcement technology for damaged structures. In addition, we study technologies that enable humans to maintain a pleasant and healthy indoor environment where they live more than 95% of their lives, such as indoor sound environment and air environment research, energy-saving building facility systems, and eco-friendly and continuous ventilation control technology. In addition, we continue to produce practical experts in the CM and BIM fields.
